Call the Oyster Shak for weekend featured entertainment!! Located at the mainland end of the St. Simons Island Causeway on the corner of Hwy. 17 and Stacy Street, this restaurant is more than a just a step back in time. Decorated in the fun style of a century turning “shak” somewhere down a beaten path to the sea, this restaurant has been adorned with found art from the Golden Isles immediately giving you a sense of laid back attitude. A full menu featuring oysters delivered daily from Apalachiacola, Florida, and serving only Wild Georgia Shrimp, you can sit at a table or at the hand crafted bar and watch as oysters are shucked and stories are told. Featuring a full bar, we also serve the “landlubbers” with an assortment of wings, burgers, steaks, and great big salads. Open Monday thru Friday 11am to 2am, noon to 2am Saturday, and 12 to 12 on Sunday.
